High Holy Days

We have made the difficult decision to keep services online for the Holy Days this year in order to keep our community safe.
Please register below.
See what it feels like to be at our in person Holy Day services here:

2021 Hybrid Holy Days Schedule

We were so hoping to have us all together, and then half of us together, and with the rise of Delta, we are going small.

Erev Rosh Hashanah will be completely online because we are eating and drinking for our Rosh Hashanah Seder.

For Rosh Hashanah morning,  Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur morning, a very limited number of our community (just our Board of Directors and those doing readings or chanting Torah) will be invited to come in-person to Rabbi Diane and Andy's home.   Everyone else will be on Zoom.  All are welcome to join in person for Tashlich on the beach and the closing service in Ashland Park.

Even though we will mostly be online, we promise it will be musical, uplifting, educational, and renewing.

Our Tikkun Olam Activity for this year is purchasing home items for A Sense of Home, which is an amazing non-profit that provides homes for young adults who age out of the foster care system but still need support!

Go here to help:

Rosh Hashanah evening (only on Zoom, no in-person):

Although we wish we could be together in the same room, we are thrilled to get to see you again virtually!!

We will be sending Zoom information a day or two before our services begin.   Please check your email for how to virtually join us.  Your "ticket" purchase invites you to all four services (Erev Rosh Hashanah is online only, and will be a mini-service and Rosh Hashanah seder.)

Please make sure your Zoom account name matches the one used to register for our services.  We will be utilizing the waiting room and checking each person in for security reasons.

If you have not yet signed up to be one of our Partner Families and want to do so, you can do that here too!  Being a partner family will give benefits all year long.

If you have any questions or concerns, let us know at

See you on Zoom!

Thank you!!

We thank you so very much for being part of the Cool Shul family and for supporting this community so we can bring our non-judgmental, come-as-you-are flavor of Judaism to more and more families.  We wouldn't be here without you, especially in this complicated time.

This spring and summer we were, once again, not able to host our usual fundraisers because of the pandemic, so we ask you to offer what you can for our Holy Day services.  The donation you offer is good for all four services, and is fully tax-deductible.   Please note the donation covers your entire household, and the price is the same whether you are in-person or online.

We also hope you will join as one of our Partner Families to be counted as part of our "membership" and support our mission.  Please don't choose the "Partner Level" for your High Holy Day access unless you are renewing your partnership for this year.  We are so grateful for each and every one of you and thank you for your support!

For attendance at all three services we have four levels of giving:
Generosity Level - $360 per household
Standard Level - $180 per household
Partner Level - $150 per household (for those renewing partnership for the year 5781)
Economic Hardship Level - $54 per household

Please note that all donations offered for Holy Days are tax deductible.

If all of these prices are out of reach, please contact us here.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

If you register by August 23, we will send you an envelope of items to be used for our interactive exercises.  Please let us know here how many kits to include.  If you are registering after August 23, we will not be able to mail them, but you will still be able to participate in the activities.
Yes!  Please count us as a Partner Family for this year!  We do not have an ongoing automatic donation for partnership that takes us into this year and are paying for our partnership for this year here.  We acknowledge that this is for a $100 per month donation ($1200 annually) that is fully tax-deductible,
NOTE: HHD donations must be paid in full.   If you are including partnership, you may spread your payment out over several months.
